MRC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine "Pearl of Prykarpattia" is waiting for guests for recreation and rest! The effect of the healing waters of the Truskavets resort and its role in strengthening the immunity of the human body is an indisputable, necessary, and expedient factor in the fight against viral diseases, including the respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2. The quarantine period associated with the COVID-19 pandemic prompted the administration of the MRC of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine "Pearl of Prykarpattia" to make efforts to improve the material and technical base of the health resort. During the quarantine period, using the latest materials and technologies, the following was done
- renovation of treatment rooms and common areas of the medical building was carried out

- the physical therapy room was renovated;

- the current repair of the finishing tiles with the arrangement of additional equipment for the swimming pool was carried out;

- new rooms were equipped: with speleotherapy, intestinal irrigation, and hydro colon therapy;

- new play equipment was installed on the street playground;

- new simulators were installed on the outdoor sports ground;

- current repairs of dining halls were carried out;

- current repair of the staircase of the dormitory building was carried out;

- balcony niches and fences were repaired with the partial repair of the facade of the dormitory building.

To strengthen and update the medical base, the following equipment was purchased

- ultrasound diagnostic apparatus "LOGIQ P7" (manufactured by General Electric), which is equipped with 4 sensors, which expands the range of diagnostic tests performed at the MRC, because it allows examining

hepatobiliary system (liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen)

urinary system (kidneys, bladder, prostate);

female reproductive system (uterus with appendages), mammary glands;

thyroid gland;

peripheral blood vessels and heart;

vessels of the head and musculoskeletal system.

- fibrogastroscope "Olimpus", equipped with video surveillance, which will improve the diagnosis of diseases of the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum;

- hematological analyzer "Elite 3" to expand the range of laboratory tests of blood parameters;

- shock wave therapy device "Zimmer enPulsPro" for the treatment of diseases of the musculoskeletal system (heel spurs, tendonitis of various localization, epicondylitis of the elbow joint, osteochondrosis, deforming spondylosis of the cervical and lumbar spine);

- Apparatus "Mustang-vacuum" for the treatment of erectile dysfunction and chronic prostatitis in men;

- Ozone therapy apparatus "Ozone UM-80", which is used for the prevention of diseases of the cardiovascular, hepatobiliary, and urinary systems;

- physiotherapeutic apparatus "Magneris" for magnetic therapy sessions with a low-frequency magnetic field in the treatment of deforming arthrosis of the hip joint, osteochondrosis of the spine, rheumatoid arthritis, obliterating endarteritis, atherosclerosis of the lower extremities, diseases of the peripheral nervous system, all types of dermatoses, eczema, neurodermatitis;

- low-frequency scanning laser therapy apparatus "Polaris 2" for the treatment of muscle pain, osteoarthritis of peripheral joints, intervertebral disc lesions, heel spurs, rheumatoid arthritis, and joint capsule damage.
