Pearl of Prykarpattia

"Perlyna Prykarpattya" is a medical rehabilitation center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.

We are located in the balneological resort of Truskavets, which is famous for its unique mineral springs.

The sanatorium is located in the green part of the city near the lake. We offer our guests a wide range of services for recreation, health improvement, and rehabilitation.

The health resort consists of three buildings - sleeping, diagnostic and medical, which are interconnected.

The number of rooms includes 245 rooms of different categories equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. On the territory of the sanatorium, there is a closed parking lot, a playground, a cinema and concert hall, a conference hall, a hairdresser, a minimarket, a bank branch, and cosmetic rooms.

Rest and treatment in Truskavets

The sanatorium was put into operation in April 1993.

The specialization of the sanatorium is the treatment of gastroenterological and urological diseases.

The sanatorium is located in the green part of the city near the lake, at a distance of 1 km from the central pump room of mineral waters and 2 km from the railway station.

How to get to Truskavets? You can use trains: 49/50 Kyiv-Truskavets-Kyiv; 41/42 Dnipro-Truskavets-Dnipro, as well as electric trains Lviv-Truskavets, which run 4 times a day, or buses Lviv-Truskavets from the bus station every 50 minutes.

The territory of the MRC is 6.4 hectares, including buildings - 0.6 hectares, park area - 4 hectares, and paths and access roads - 1.8 hectares.

The health center is located in a 10-story dormitory building, which is adjoined by medical, administrative, and cultural buildings, and a dining room, which is connected to the main building by passages. The MRC has its pump room for quick heating of mineral waters.

The sleeping building has 245 rooms of different types: double, single, junior suites, two-room suites, and one apartment. The two-story apartment consists of six rooms (2 bedrooms, living room, study, billiard room, and gym). All rooms of the dormitory building are equipped with TVs, refrigerators, telephones, and bathrooms. There are electric kettles and iron in the superior rooms. Cold and hot water round the clock. The rooms offer a magnificent view of the foothills of the Carpathians and the lake.

The dining room is located in a typical room, two dining halls are designed for 400 seats. Meals are served buffet style...

The three-story medical building is connected to the main building by a covered passage. Here you can get a wide range of examinations and medical procedures.

There are rooms for ultrasound examination, electrocardiography, and rheography, a clinical diagnostic laboratory, a department of ozokerite applications and mineral baths, speleotherapy room, the only one in the resort system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine room of hyperbaric oxygenation (barocamber). The sanatorium provides free Wi-Fi Internet service.

MRC "Perlyna Prykarpattya" has a license for medical practice and is accredited for the highest accreditation category.

Specialized treatment: diseases of gastroenterological and urological profile.

Gastroenterological diseases

• Chronic gastritis with secretory insufficiency in remission.
• Chronic gastritis with preserved and increased secretion, gastro-duodenitis in remission.
• Reflux with esophagitis, painful, dyspeptic, and mixed form, mild and moderate degrees in remission.
• Gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer in remission without gastric motor failure, without a tendency to bleeding, penetration, and malignant degeneration.
• Diseases of the operated stomach (after surgery for gastric ulcer and duodenal ulcer) with the presence of dumping - and hypoglycemic syndrome of mild and moderate degrees, gastritis of the stump of the stomach, not earlier than 2 months after surgery.
• Chronic colitis and enterocolitis of various etiologies, mild and moderate degrees.
• Chronic inactive hepatitis of various etiologies, with minor deviations in liver function tests.
• Cholecystitis, cholangitis (angiocholitis) of various etiologies without a tendency to frequent exacerbations, without jaundice.
• Dyskinesia of the biliary tract and gallbladder.
• Cholelithiasis without attacks of hepatic colic, except for forms complicated by infection, as well as requiring surgical intervention (multiple or large single calculi, blockage of bile ducts).
• Cholelithiasis is a condition after surgery on the biliary tract in a satisfactory condition not earlier than 2 months after surgery.
• Pancreatitis is chronic, latent, and rarely recurrent in the stage of stable remission, with not sharply expressed pain syndrome and normal blood amylase activity.
• Dyskinesia of the colon.

 

Urological diseases

• Chronic pyelonephritis (primary, secondary) in remission, with satisfactory renal function.
• Chronic (primary, secondary) cystitis in remission.
• Chronic prostatitis, chronic vesiculitis in remission with limited infiltrate, without residual urine.
• Chronic pyelonephritis of a single kidney with satisfactory function.
• Chronic pyelonephritis after organ-preserving operations on the kidneys and urinary tract - 1-1.5 months after surgery.
• Urolithiasis in remission:

a) Stones of the kidneys, upper and lower urinary tract, the size and shape of which allow to hope for their spontaneous exit;

b) Urolithiasis with the passage of stones (chronic stone formation);

c) Condition after descending or ascending lithiasis, extracorporeal nephrolithotripsy, surgical and instrumental removal of kidney stones, urinary tract - 1-2 months after the intervention.

d) Stones of abnormal kidneys without sharp violation of urodynamics.

e) Condition after nephrectomy for nephrolithiasis and its complications - 4-5 months after the intervention.
